NewSong Center & Svay Pak Ministries
NewSong is a rehabilitation centre for approximately 60 girls who have been rescued from various brothels throughout Cambodia. The compound is a ‘safe house’ in a secluded and undisclosed location with great attention being paid to the security of the kids. Ratanak International is partnering with Agape International Missions for this after-care home.
Svay Pak Ministries is an outreach of the Newsong Centre, located in the heart of a notorious child sex trafficking community called Svay Pak. The Sanctuary is a building that was intended as a sex tourist hotel, has been converted into a multipurpose building to house a church, school and medical clinic. The Lord’s Gym is an outreach gym for the pimps and men in the community. Rahab’s House is a former brothel that has been converted into a community outreach centre.

My name is Julia and I came across your blog while researching Cambodia. I have gotten involved with an organization called Agape International Mission (www.agapewebsite.org) that also works in Svay Pak, Cambodia. I’m guessing they must partner with Svay Pak Ministries because they also talk about The Lord’s Gym and Rahab’s House. I have enjoyed reading your blog. I am looking for way to be more involved with Agape and to do more fundraising for them. It’s always nice to find people who are fighting the same battle.

AIM is actually one of our partner organizations, as Ratanak is also funding both NewSong Center and Svay Pak Ministries (Rahab’s House, the Lord’s gym and the Sanctuary which is Rahab’s House II).
