Not Forgotten

Young women and children are bought and sold like animals.  Often they are the only commodities poor communities possess.

Cambodia was ravaged by the Killing Fields of the 1970′s.  Millions died.  The structures of society collapsed leaving a profound moral vacuum.  Today many of those structures, community, family and religious, remains in tatters.  The value of human beings often measured in small amounts of cash.

Into this poverty-driven environment come the international pedophiles and sex tourists.  They have money and thus power.  They display the very worst forms of human predatory behaviours in seeking out the small, the vulnerable and the defenseless.

The victims are sold into sex industry.  They are trafficked, imprisoned and brutalized in a world where they are raped, often thousands of times.

They have no choice.  They are real … today!  BUT THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!

Today many Cambodian children, imprisoned in a dark world of sex slavery, wonder if anyone will ever notice them, will anyone come to help them?

Ratanak International www.ratanak.org.  has noticed!  We are driven to help them!

Such children are not anonymous, they are not expendable, and they are not worthless.  THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!

Join with the Ratanak International as it brings light into the darkness, hope to the hopeless and joy, yes even joy, to young lives in Cambodia!
